  • assessment of the incident’s relevance and, if applicable, the necessary measures required under data protection laws
  • reporting of the incident and its assessment to the responsible department within the company

Art. 83 (4) (a) GDPR

The BRYTER module template Personal Data Breach Responder is a ready-made yet customizable legal tech tool which can be used for structuring a company-internal workflow starting with the detection of a personal data breach via the assessment of its legal implications to the reporting of the relevant findings to the responsible department. The template is fully adaptable to the specificities of your industry and company.

The interactive module uses predefined criteria to determine whether a personal data breach has occurred and which steps must be taken in accordance with the GDPR guidelines. The user is guided through an interactive questionnaire, on the basis of which the information necessary for the further processing of the process as well as its documentation is queried. The modular logic of the BRYTER module allows this questionnaire to be adapted to the user’s inputs in a scenario-based manner in order to cover a large number of cases.

The module is available as a template. It is a ready-made legal tech product which already contains the necessary legal testing logic, but can also be adapted by the firm to the exact needs of its clients in just a few steps. The interactive user frontend is integrated into the intranet, website or app. Employees in the company’s business units can access it directly from there and independently generate legal assessments.
